Ikebana  ·  Mumbai, India

There is profound beauty in everything.

Through the art of ikebana, my goal is to reveal that beauty — transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. Objects, decor pieces, floral sculptures, architectural installations and festive kits, made by hand in Mumbai.

The practice

Rooted in the present moment

My approach bridges the timeless elegance of traditional Japanese floral art with dynamic, contemporary design — and sometimes with an Indian touch.

I work very intuitively with the seasonal availability of materials, so that every arrangement is fresh, sustainable, and uniquely rooted in the present moment.

Whether it is a large-scale architectural installation, a bespoke home decor centrepiece, or festive contemporary decor — the intention is the same.

Kadō
The way of flowers — the older name for ikebana, and the second half of this studio's own.
Jiyuka
Free style. Arrangement that departs from the taught patterns and answers to the material in front of you.
Shin · Soe · Hikae
The three principal lines of an arrangement — tall, secondary and short. Asymmetry is the point.
Kenzan
The pin holder that fixes each stem at its exact angle. The reason a line can hold still.
